MUSIC VIDEO FEEDBACK
Leanne gave me some feedback on my ideas for my music video. I decided to change a lot of things in my storyboard because I realised that the music I initially chose did not match the genre of music.
She also said that there are somethings that I couldn't show in the music video because it may look like I want to glorify suicide or self harm. She said that I should change the ending so that the character doesn't die. I then decided to make the character live and tackle the idea of suicidal thoughts by making her write a suicide letter and at the end of the video crumbling it up.
When I was adding that to my storyboard I decided that I didn't want it to be like a fairy tale and have a happing ending. So I decided that she wouldn't kill her self but she will crumble the suicide note and attempt to throw it in threw bin but it will fall of the bin and roll under her bed. That way the problem os still there but the character didn't kill herself and that opens her up to seek help for that problem instead of hiding it or throwing it away.

FEEDBACK ON PITCH FOR MUSIC VIDEO
The feedback shows that the record label and the song choice is a good fit for the music video. They also said that I used detailed audience research in my preparation and I showed how that affected my music video. They also said that I should state that my target audience is a niche audience.
They said that the narrative of the music video was good and the history of the band was very believable.
However, there was some concerns. They said that I should check what the law says on showing self harm in a music video because they felt it might promote self harm. They were also concerned with that age of my target audience (14-22) because they felt that 14 was too young to be stereotyped as emo.
I did some more research and found out that there were indeed some 14 year olds that are stereotyped as emo, although they are very few. This also feeds into my idea of the niche audience.

BLOG FEEDBACK
In our lesson Leanne went through out blogs and gave us feedback.
She said my blog was good but I should add some explanation to them so that when it is being read the audience will know why and how it will relate to my music video or my genre.
